Shooting takes place on the first and third Sunday of each month from 10.00am and entries close at 11.30am.

The Club is a non-profit making organisation run by its members and visiting shooters are welcome. The club had been running for over 20 years at Manywells  and then moved in January 2011 to Foreside Top, Denholme Gate. The club is fully insured and has a Police Certificate 11/6 for the ground.  We also have a C.P.S.A. qualified Safety Officer.

Our shooting discipline is English Sporting Clays, we shoot 50 clays (both standard and mini) from 5 stands, and always have a good range of different targets at every shoot, ranging from easy to challenging, to suit all levels of experience.

We have a handicapping system in place that places all members on the most equal footing possible, and which rewards progress. Several competitions are held during the year, and because of the handicapping system, every member has the opportunity to shine in these competitions.

Following the sad and very sudden loss of Alan Hayes on Thursday 17th September,  The members fired two volleys to salute him on Sunday 20th September.

Alan's funeral was held on Monday 28th September at 2.30 p.m., at Oakworth Crematorium, and then at Newsholme Manor.
