What a very busy day! We had lots of people new to shooting, so much so that we didn’t have enough club guns to go round so some folks had to wait. We have a shoot on our own ground each year to give members a chance to help raise some money for Manorlands. We raised £1500 at the Bronte Gathering but every penny counts with them. Manorlands has been helping people for many years and I have never once heard anyone complain about them, only how wonderful it is to have such a place and how caring they are. We had a busy weekend again this year. 275 people shot, normally with people paying £10 for 10 shots but with some young ones doing 5 shots for a fiver but then pestering Mum and Dad for more cash and coming back for a second go. Everyone was kept busy and thank you all who helped the event go so well. Some of you were there for the first time but hope you are coming again to help next year, we need plenty of people and only just had enough. It looked absolutely crammed with things to see...
