15th September 2024.

Another foggy day but well attended.  A young boy trying out shooting for the first time with the .410 did very well and wants to come again and he will be very welcome.  We had a good shoot with the rabbit running away, not crossing which was different and was great fun.  We had some low scores and some high and not a lot in between for some reason.

It is only one more shoot before the John Midgley Cup is awarded to the member with the most improved average, but you can only win it once so everyone has a chance to have it out at home to show off to their friends when they come for a cuppa.  It will also be Trafalgar Day competition for members on the20th October but visitors are welcome to shoot just the same.  This year seems to have gone so quickly.
