6th November 2022

A really good shoot today with some good scores, highest was 45, well done that member. Everyone said what a great shoot it had been today even though it was cold but fortunately not too much wind. We had some new folks and one of them said he had shot once before but about 25 years ago but really enjoyed it again this morning. One person who has been several times was quite excited that he should get his Shotgun Certificate soon and wanted some advice on where to go to look for a gun and what he should choose. Several people gave him some tips, the main one being, get one that fitted him and he felt comfortable with. When you apply for certificates or want to purchase a gun please ask and we will do all we can to help you. The car park had been cleared of a lot of things and was open for us to use so that was good. I am going to have another go at contacting the builders.

A NOTE FOR NEXT YEAR

The first Sunday in January falls on the 1st of January so there will not be a shoot that day. The 3rd Sunday is 15th Jan and that will be the first shoot of the New Year. We decided this was the best thing to do as some people have visitors over the Christmas period, some of you will have been late to bed after the New Year Celebrations and some are away.

See you next shoot and hope some of the new folks turn up for another go.
