20TH MARCH 2022

I think everyone enjoyed the shoot yesterday , lots of new faces yesterday which was great to see and I hope you all return to further shoots. Should you need any further information or you have any suggestions please get in touch with me, the club is always open to new ideas. There was decent weather, good clays including a rabbit which we have not had since we moved to Denholme. We hope to improve on the performance of it next time we use it. The wind got up after the shoot was set up so the ones who shot later would have much faster birds to contend with. We actually ran out of water so many cups of tea and coffee were made, that is a first for us. We will have to get another water container before the next shoot. The result of the members Spring Competition will be posted on the wall at the club at the next shoot and prizes handed out. Someone asked me for the number of a good gunsmith and unfortunately I didn't make a note of who it was. Please get in touch as I know an excellent one, a very pleasant, knowledgeable and skilled man.
