A very good shoot, I'll update later with details and with info about the amount we raised for Manorlands today.

Meanwhile, for anyone who was worried about me - I walked from the bottom stand with a man supporting me, blood dripping over my jeans, jacket, boots and lots on the grass. But no, his wife had not taken a pot shot at me, thinking I was abducting her hubby, nothing so dramatic.

I was ready to pull the trigger, shouted pull, the clay broke as it left the trap and I got a sharp piece into my hand. Old folks like me have thin skin and I take blood thinners so it looked much worse than it really was.

We have a 1st Aid Kit and a nurse who comes to shoot on site so I was soon patched up.

I have been shooting both rifles and shotguns since I was 16 years old so not bad, first blood, shows how safe we are!
