It was a lovely day, not a lot of wind and some sunshine instead of rain.  We had a good turnout of members and regular visitors plus some new people who want to come again.  We are always pleased to see new folks.  We are having a small group coming to our next shoot who will be using the vouchers they got as Christmas presents.  The extra stand will be up for them so they have time to get plenty of the free instruction in without holding anyone up.  One of our regular visitors left a five pound note for the three young lads who help put away the smaller items of equipment at the end of the shoot.  They send their thanks.

I have been told the officer who checks our cabinets on renewal or grant of a Certificate has had a change of job and so I don’t know if someone else has yet been appointed.  Should anyone have any information on this please let me know.  Doctors still seem to holding up paperwork and not getting on with signing it.  This is a private transaction and they are charging for it so it should not be the lengthy process they are making it.  One doctor has still not signed a members paperwork after seven weeks.  BASC will help with any difficulties of any kind you have if you are a member, they are always willing to give advice.  Should you want any information from me please email or ring me.
