We had a good day on Sunday with some decent weather and a good turnout to raise some money for our local Sue Ryder Hospice, Manorlands, in Oxenhope.  All your shoot fees, (the club donates the clays), plus generous cash donations and what was in the collection box came to almost £650.  We have a few small donated prizes to give out and a bottle of whiskey to raffle at the next shoot.  The proceeds from the raffle will be added to the Manorlands fund.  There were some good scores put in so think we are all wearing a bit less “padding” and getting more cheerful as the better weather should be coming and we have been promised another hot summer.  Tee shirts in Denholme, up on the moor? Our juniors are doing well and we are all pleased to see the next generation of shooters coming along.  We need some girls now so if you have a daughter who may enjoy shooting bring her along.  We do have some lady members which is good to see and one was on the desk to book you in last Sunday.  She said it was lovely to put names to the faces she sees at the shoot.  Thank you for that help.

Our next shoot of course is this coming Sunday the 7th April.
