20th April 2025.

We had a quiet day on Sunday in the Sunshine. I expect a lot of you were at home with family, eating Easter eggs and possibly a BBQ. The clay rabbits were in fine form, some running along the ground and some leaping in the air.

The people who won cartridges at the Spring Competition have not collected their boxes yet so don't forget next shoot.

There was a lot of chat about the forthcoming Bronte Vintage Gathering and wondering if anything about the event would be different with the new committee in charge. Our clay pigeon "have a go" shoot will be conducted in the usual fashion. We hope to raise lots of cash for Manorlands the Sue Ryder Hospice in Oxenhope who do such good work. I hope all the people who said they would come and help run our shoot do come, we need everyone looking after and keeping safe and there are usually plenty of children running around so we need to keep a close eye on them so they don't get on the shooting area. Two busy days.
