3rd July 2022.

All the prizes not collected were raffled off and the cash will be sent to Manorlands along with what was in the collection box. Thank you everyone. Thanks also to the member who brought us fruit cake and cheese. We had some black clouds but it didn't rain until we had just finished packing away all the equipment and were ready for home. Only a shower as well. The black cow had been to watch us shoot as usual along with her calf. I suppose we are the highlight of her life on the moor. We had a change in the cabin, two other helpers were left to look after booking in and the tea/coffee and butties. I hope that was OK for everyone. I went out and shot during the normal shooting time instead of being in the cabin and put in the worst score I have done for quite a long time. I think the shoot was quite hard yesterday as there were some more low scores from shooters who usually do much better. That is my excuse anyway, a hard shoot. The people who won the cash prizes at the Waterloo shoot were pleased and we were all glad that the English had won again this year. Our next competition will be in October and that will be Trafalgar Day celebration. It is also the day when the cup for the best increase in averages is presented.
