It was fun on Sunday with the wind pushing the clays in different ways, higher or lower than they were meant to be or off to one side or the other.  They seemed to have minds of their own.  Everyone seemed to enjoy it though and there were some good scores put in.  There was a good turn out of members and some new faces, one getting in touch later with a view to becoming a member.  Shotgun Certificate renewals seem to be going along slowly but without problems.  It is someone new to the inspections but he has been a firearms instructor for some time so knows something about the job and is a very approachable, helpful person.  Should he ask for your Certificate when he visits you can actually refuse as you may want to purchase cartridges.  The certificate can be sent back when your new one is ready for use.   You can confirm this by ringing BASC or the CPSA if you are a member or whatever shooting organisation you belong to.

We are looking forward to the Manorlands Shoot on the 31st March so make sure you have that in your diary.  We want to make as much cash as we can for them as we are not running the “have a go shoot” at The Bronte Vintage Gathering this year because of the special horses that are coming.
