A really cold wind but the sun was shining and we had blue sky. Some good scores were put in. Thank you to all those who renewed their membership and welcome to the two new members one of whom is new to shooting. The membership remains at the same price but we have had to put other prices up as like everything else at the moment we are paying more for insurance, rent, clays and cartridges. Even the bacon has gone up but we will not be putting the price up for that, you need a good butty first thing in the morning. In the spring we will be doing some maintenance to the track which will probably be expensive. Two of our members have asked me to request that you all put your used cartridges in the bins. There are magnets on the stands but please, please do not go in front of the stands to collect your empties especially those folks who use a semi-auto. They will be collected by helpers at the end of the shoot. The next shoot is on the 5th February and I hope to see you then.
