2nd August 2026

What a super day for shooting last Sunday, warm, sunshine and very little wind.

15 folks scored more than 30 in those conditions and one person even got 41, well done.

We got two new members and they are enjoying the shoot and the friendliness of everyone.

The year seems to be flying by but there are no competitions till October when we will also have a raffle as usual.

The funniest raffle I have ever seen was at a rifle club. A small boy who was with Mum and Dad who were both competing in the competition won a prize. He opened it will glee and found a red lace bra and knickers to match, very sexy. He held them up with great delight and shouted he was taking them to school on Monday. Mum jumped up snatched them off him and stuffed them in her shoot bag. Everyone laughed as the confused little boy had no idea what was wrong with Mum, who had a very red face and a Dad who was trying his best not to laugh and upset his wife. The little lad won out in the end as everyone who won sweets, biscuits and anything suitable for the lad

passed them over to him.

The rather large lady who had donated the dainty, sexy underwear said her

hubby had bought them for her for Christmas for fun and a laugh when all the family would be opening presents together and she never thought there would be children at the rifle club and thought she could give everyone a laugh.

What will you bring to our raffle?

Marjorie
