18th September 2022.

We had a good turnout of both members and visitors to our two shot salute for Queen Elizabeth II. She was a shooter after all so we wanted to say our goodbye and thanks properly. She was a true country woman, once getting hit on her head with a shot bird but just laughing it off. She bred Labradors as well as corgis, loved walking them all, loved her Scottish home where she could relax in the countryside, loved racing her horses. Let us see what our new King Charles III will be like.

We had a large number of people there today, 63 altogether so it was busy. There was lots of banter and friendliness going on between regulars and new folks so I think we all enjoyed our morning. I hope to see the new folks coming again.
