What a lovely day it was when we arrived yesterday morning, sunshine and no wind. The sunshine continued but by ten it was very windy and blowing the clays around not always as they were intended to be. There were no high scores but it kept your concentration going as you had to be very alert as to where the clay might go next. I went round earlier than usual and was glad to hear banter and laughter going on around me. We had some new folks again and they said they enjoyed both the clays and the friendliness of everyone and some were glad of the help members had been. We got a donation from a non member of £50 towards our funds and we are very grateful for that as we are hoping to have some work done on improving the track in a few weeks when the worst of the winter is over so we are saving our pennies. We don’t aim to make more money than we need and what we have goes back into the club, new batteries seems to be on the go at the moment.

We are all set now to do the Bronte Vintage Gathering on the 13th and 14th May having got Insurance and a Police Certificate to run it. Should you have some time during that weekend to come and help please let me know.
