We had a good shoot yesterday and some good scores were made by both visitors and members. We had several juniors shooting and it was great to see them enjoying their chosen sport. Our next shoot will be the Trafalgar Shoot which is a competition for members but visitors will be welcome to come and shoot as usual. The battle hardly ever gets a mention on the news even though it was a famous one and conducted by Nelson who unfortunately died during the conflict. All members will be given a card with the name of a ship that took part. These are handed out at random so you will not be able to choose a partner with the same ships name. Shoot round with your usual friends. The total score of all entrants will be added up and an average taken. This will be added to you and your partners score and we will then see who wins. There is a small cash prize for the two winners so come and have some fun and see if you can win. We will also be presenting the Midgley Trophy for the year. This is for the most improved shooter.
