20th November 2022.

The sun was out most of the time and the rain stopped before shooting began so not a bad day at all for November. We had new shooters who seemed to be having a great time together. Good scores and second rounds were done. Bacon butties and tea and coffee scoffed and all in a friendly atmosphere. The car park is left open so we can use it even when work is being done for the new houses. We are busy getting some quotes for doing some repairs to the track and outside the cabins and hope to have this work done soon after Christmas. At our next shoot we will be having a raffle so if you have anything to add as a prize please bring it along.

Please note there will be no shoot on the 1st January as some of you will have been late to bed or be out visiting or having visitors at home. Enjoy the day with your family.

MEMBERSHIP

We are keeping the membership cost to the same as it has been for a few years now, £40. This enables us to Insure you all in case of accidents, pay the rent on the land we use, maintain all our equipment and repair the track etc. You benefit by paying to shoot for less cost than visitors do, take part in competitions for members only with prizes to be won and trophies for best shots in each class at the end of the year.

TROPHIES

The members with the requisite number of attendances during the year are listed and their averages put highest to lowest then divided into three classes. The top three people in each class will win trophies or medals which will be presented at the last shoot before Christmas.

VETERANS COMPETITION (65’s and over)

This competition will be held at the next shoot. There is a trophy to be won which will be presented at the last shoot before Christmas.
