20th October, 2024.

We had been warned on TV that the weather would be stormy but shooting folks are a hardy bunch and so well done those brave people that turned up to The Battle of Trafalgar competition.  It was really windy and heavy rain but people were still smiling and laughing as usual.  There were even some good scores put in for such a windy, nasty day. The prizes will be handed out at the next shoot. We should have been presenting the John Midgley Cup but the member who won it didn’t venture out or had something else he had to do.  Hope he comes next time. 

Our next shoot is on 3rd November, how the year has flown by.  Let us hope for a better summer next year.
