What a lovely sunny, dry and almost wind free day we had on Sunday. We had some new people shooting who say they want to return. Ring or email the day before a shoot and we can arrange to have the practice stand and an instructor to help you make a start at shooting .

I had a good day as I got to go out much earlier and a kind person insisted on bringing a chair to each stand so I could sit down. There was some really good shooting especially from our eleven year old whom had just had a gun bought for him. 25/50 was a fantastic score and we hope he will go on to improve even more.

It is a shame we cannot do the Bronte Vintage Gathering in 2024 and we have been trying to find another way of raising money for Manorlands.We have thought about another venue but most shows are only one day and they do not always have room for us. Some members would have liked to run an air rifle range but that was not possible as the rule was “No Shooting” from the horse people.We will be back in 2025 doing our usual have a go shoot.
