7th May Shoot.

Stripping off was the first thing to do today as it was so hot. We are so used to having to wear several layers to keep warm it made a change. Some of the people who were quite new to Denholme came back for another shoot which was good. They said they enjoyed the shoot and the company. Next weekend is the Bronte Vintage Gathering and so some time was spent sorting out who was going to take what down to the ground. My kitchen worktops are now full of things we need as I picked the small stuff that I can carry.

I cannot find the .410 rod we had up at the shoot in case someone got a cartridge stuck, if anyone has one to spare can we have it please. It does not need to be in great order or anything. Someone managed to get the empty out in the end. We do have one for the 12 bore but it obviously was too thick.

Hope we get lots of folks doing the "have a go" shoot and that we get lots of cash for Manorlands.
