The Police have renewed our Section 11/6 for the next three years. This covers our ability to have people shoot legally who do not have a Shotgun Certificate. It entails an inspection of the ground, the procedures we have in place to conduct shooting safely and our paperwork which has to be kept correctly. We have also obtained one for the Bronte Vintage Gathering in May.
We have been given two used shoot vests to sell in aid of Manorlands. They will both be on display in the cabin on Sunday. One is a waxed one which will keep some wind and rain out.
Will anyone who can help at the Bronte Vintage Gathering in May please let me know. It is 13th and 14th May. Traps will be set up and looked after by the experienced helpers of course but there will be a lot of non shooters coming and especially children who have no knowledge of guns and shooting and we like to have plenty of folks to look after them, answer questions, button, mark score cards, etc. Profits of course go to Manorlands our local Sue Ryder Hospice in Oxenhope.
See you all on Sunday.
