Sunday Shoot

There was a good turnout again on Sunday and we got yet another relatively fine day if not a little windy! Some people had booked but didn’t arrive however that made space for a group who didn’t know about booking and turned up in the hope of a shoot. They said at the end of their time with us that they had enjoyed themselves and hoped to come again.

Scores were not high this week as the birds were quite hard when the wind got up after the traps had been set sending the clays faster than was intended.

Still it would be boring to have just easy targets each time & it’s the best way to improve your skill.

Unfortunately we have had to raise the cost of cartridges & each shoot, we try our best to keep the cost down but sometimes it’s unavoidable.

Second rounds will now cost the same as first rounds bringing us into line with other clubs.

We had hoped for some good photos from but only one member sent his in, so please get those cameras out and we‘d like more of you to send some from the next shoot on the 16th May.

The Manorlands Shoot is on the 30th and we are hoping we will be back to bacon butties as we had before the lockdown!

See you next time!
