Windy Day!

It was a clear but very windy morning up at the club ground today. While the temperature wasn’t too low the wind chill certainly left a few wishing they had a few more layers on!


The clays were also not a fan of the wind, choosing to find some shelter in the reed grass as fast as they possibly could. I am sure this was the cause of some difficult scores… well that’s the story were sticking to anyway 😬


Thanks to those that came today and we look forward to seeing more of you next shoot which is January 16th.

I was asked yesterday to turn off the windmills on the moor, yes it was that windy ! There were still some good scores put in though, the highest was 44. We raffled off a donated bottle of whiskey w

We had a good day on Sunday with some decent weather and a good turnout to raise some money for our local Sue Ryder Hospice, Manorlands, in Oxenhope.  All your shoot fees, (the club donates the clays)
